I was actually going to title this "Another One Bites the Dust," but I didn't have the heart.

My name is Brad and I'm the school board representative for next year, i thought that i would explain what happened with elections. YOu are correct that their were only 7 ppl on the ballot to fill 7 offices. This is due to the fact that out of a class of 600+ only 7 ppl would run. The candidates sat down with each other and arranged what positions they would run for in orders to limit copetition and ensure that each would have an office. In other classes (2004 & 2006) there were competitive elections. I too would prefer a slate of competitive races, but unfornatly few students are interests in being involved in Student Government.
