Assuming the site stays up, you should still be able to access the forum. So please tell everyone you know to come by and talk about whatever they like. We only have 5 registered members, a number I hope to see dramatically inflate with the coming year.

Hello, it's Chris Johnigan again. You might have read some of my replies to your previous articles. Well, I put in a transfer application to Berkeley High School. I included my solid transcript, a letter explaining my reasons for transfer, and of course (I don't mean to brag) my sparkling test scores! Assuming that Berkeley High will let me in, I look forward to meeting you come August.

Hello, it's me again. I know I may seem like I complain about Deer Valley High School a lot, but this is one of the few forums that I get to express my grievances. Of course, Deer Valley has its positives (brand new campus, relatively large choice of classes to choose from) but the typical student there either doesn't like it or is pretty indifferent. Near the end of the school year, I was in the parking lot waiting for my ride home, when I heard one boy in a crowd of about 20 or so kids make references to "kikes" and "gooks". Self-segregation is to be seen in all parts of the campus. After school, white kids drive or get rides home, while the vast majority of blacks, Hispanics, and Filipinos take the city bus or hang out with nothing to do. Berkeley High School is not alone in its problems. I sincerely hope my transfer gets through. If not, I certainly won't go back to D.V.
