I go to Piedmont High and I have known Nic since he was about 5 years old. Nic and I have shared a lot of good times and we were best friends for almost a decade. Nic was a special person that left an impacting impression on a lot of people. He will be missed but we will never forget.

As Austin mentioned, I have also known Nic since Kindergarten, I let our friendship slip away when he moved out to Berkeley and it is one of the worst mistakes ever. Nic was an amazing guy, and a huge loss to this world, I am truly sorry for all that never got a chance to know him. Even though I didn't know Nic as well as many others did, I still mourn his loss. My love goes out to all his friends and family, and I am sorry Nic that I never told you how much I love you, and what an amazing person you are. RIP Nic, I love you.

I've known Nic since I was five or six years old. We met for the first time at Berkeley Iceland and practically grew up playing hockey together. We spent a week this past summer coaching together for a hockey school. Nic always had a smile on his face, as I would always see him around BHS and would talk to him nearly everyday. The topic was always hockey, how his team was doing, and when I would come play with him again. I sorely miss you Nic, you were and always will be one of my best friends I've ever had. Rest in peace.

Like many others,I was able to spend a few great years at piedmont elementry school with nic. he was always an amiable guy, always in a good mood and getting people to laugh. though i have not seen him for about a decade, i (we) will always remember him as a great guy, making people laugh and being a good friend to others. we'll miss ya nic ... RIP
