I Am More Than A Lonely Barcode
[Monday May 1.06 ¬ 10:22 PM]Comments have been tentatively reenabled. I have taken some measures that will hopefully prevent any more comment spamming because not having comments on a website which is designed to be for the community, to put it frankly, sucks.
(For the geeks out there, what this means is that I’ve finally decided to update our software. We moved from some ancient version of MovableType—whose version number I don’t even recall—to the newest version, version 3.2. While you won’t see much of a difference out there, I can tell you that from the driver’s seat, it looks real shiny.)

As near as I can tell all of the tests are in the Jacket Gym, except for the ones on May 2 and May 10, which are in the Library. The sheet which I’m reading off of is unclear though, so don’t just take my word for it.
Also, it is worth noting that Wednesday is a minimum day. My condolences to those of you who are taking AP tests that morning and not only have to be at school anyway, but have to be there early. I’m still not entirely sure how they decide what days are minimum days, but if I had to take a guess I would say the first Wednesday of every month… can anyone confirm that? In any case, I’ve updated the events calendar to the best of my ability with all of the academic holidays and so forth for the rest of the year. As always, send me mistakes, corrections, and additions.
Today was also the date that most colleges required their statement of intent to enroll submitted by, so it’s been something of an intense week for college-bound seniors… especially those indecisive ones who were drawing from a large pot of options. I made my final decision at the very last minute and sent my card in even later. Thanks to an exceedingly behind schedule AP French test, I didn’t leave BHS until 4:45 PM, fifteen minutes before the Berkeley post office sends out its last batch. I made it through though. Everyone seems to have made it through all right. For the most part, people seem to be happy with their decisions—of the people I’ve spoken to anyway. I’m sure there’s a large group of people who are unhappy as well, but they’re certainly not as vocal about it.
