Junior Prom Memories...
[Wednesday Feb 28.07 ¬ 3:04 PM]Junior Prom tickets are set to begin going on sale during Lunch and after school starting on March 2nd. I’m not a junior anymore and writing on this topic is pretty pointless for me, but since I don’t have anything to talk about and I must fill up my internship time I will recall some of my personal story from last year’s junior prom. Junior prom was a great experience for me because I got to kick it with all my friends including the ones I didn’t see very much outside of school. The pre-prom party at Sophie Mariatch’s house was chill and I had a place and a lot of time to get myself in the right set of mind before the actual prom began if you know what I mean. After the pre-prom party I hopped on the party bus with all of my homies and we all headed toward the prom. The ride to the prom was everybody going hella dumb to all the sick Bay-Area music and enjoying themselves. When I say “hella dumb” I mean guys freaking with girls and vice versa and just going extra dummy then usual. Once we got to the prom we had to wait in line for 35 minutes or so which was interrupted by the occasional need to take a leak behind the building. After finally getting in to the prom I headed straight for the dance floor. I promptly spent the rest of prom planting helluv seeds and failing to see one grow past the stage of making out. By the end of prom my mindset was “fuck girls right now I just want to drink.” I kicked it at my boi Seth’s house for the rest of the night and walked home from his house at about 3:00 AM.
What I would like to conclude from telling this story is to let you juniors know that prom is not worth missing out on. It’s not going to be nearly as clean as the senior prom but with good planning and follow through I’m sure you all can make your prom night a very enjoyable one just like I made mine. I would also like to take this time to warn you all not to drink too much and to make sure you keep it real at all times.
