Starting Again

Hello, there.

My name is Harris Lapiroff. I am a junior at Berkeley High School and I have been asked by Brandon to help out a little in keeping this website updated, so here I am. I'm glad to be here, and I hope you're glad to have me here.

Today was the first day of school. Our Summer is gone, not to return to us for another nine months. Until then, we'll just have to deal with the same seven daily hours of school, homework, preparing for tests and hoping for good grades.

I hope you all had a nice first day. Hopefully your schedule is in perfect working condition with no gaps and all the classes you wanted. Hopefully you went to your classes today and discovered that you had lots of teachers who you liked and very few who you didn't. If that's not the case, I'm sorry. That happens, more often than not.

I've updated the events page. It now should have most of the important dates for the Fall semester. I will add more as they come to my attention.

Those of you who read the PTSA newsletter that came with the packet Berkeley High mailed out know that the minimum day schedule has been changed. Instead of ending early —as they did last year— they will begin later and end at the same time as usual. You will have a chance to sleep in.
