Spring Break Experiences
[Friday Apr 6.07 ¬ 3:37 PM]This Spring break has been one of the best experiences I’ve had in my whole high school career. I kicked it with some friends I haven’t seen in a couple of years and I won’t go into any other details about what we did. In addition I also learned that I have been accepted into the University of Arizona and the SALT program which took a huge weight off my conscience. As a result of that I have been able to enjoy myself over Spring break without anything seriously bothering my conscience. An appropriate thing that I did over Spring Break was to volunteer one day of my time to helping the homeless at the homeless shelter. It was a great feeling to help other in need but what I really got out of it was the riddance of guilt on my conscience. Sometimes I think to myself just how lucky I am to have a loving family and to have the opportunity to go to school and achieve what I want to achieve in life. Sometimes I can’t help but feel sorry for people in less privileged situations and I believe it is my responsibility to help these people when I can to show myself and them that I do recognize their presence in our society. I really wanted to share my Spring break experiences with you and now I would like to hear anything about your Spring break that you might want to share with me and the rest of this site’s viewers. Remember to share your experiences with caution and to not write about anything you wouldn’t want to have known or talked about by other people.

[Tuesday Apr 3.07 ¬ 12:13 PM]Spring break has finally begun as of 3:15 PM on Friday. Spring break has always been one of my favorite times off compared to all the other holidays and breaks I get because Spring break always happens during the end of the third quarter and before the beginning of the last quarter of school. It really gives me the time to relax after working very hard to keep my senior grades respectable from fear of being rescinded from my college of choice. I don’t know about other students but this year spring break saved me from completely melting down academically. Senioritis was seriously beating me down and if it weren’t for the spring vacation I have no doubt in my mind that my consecutive weeks of slacking off was going to catch up to me. I wasn’t doing all my assignments with the full effort I usually put into them, and I hadn’t been attending my labs for AP Environmental Science. It really wasn’t until the beginning of spring break that I realized that this was a sign from somebody up above that it was time to get my act in shape. I’ve been spending most of my first few days of spring break catching up on my assignments and even getting ahead on some. It wasn’t fun at first but now that I can reflect on it I know that it was possibly the best thing that could have happened to me academically There are different morals to the story depending on who you are. If you are a senior the moral of the story is to stop not doing your homework and risk a nasty rejection letter from their college of choice. If you are an underclassman the moral of the story is to be aware and be prepared for when you are a senior because senioritis is no joke. I am a first hand victim and if you are going to take any advice of mine I suggest that you heed to not slacking off when you are a senior.
