August 24 (’08) – August 30 (’08)

[Friday Aug 29.08 ¬ 5:00 PM]

Today marks the end of week one, which is probably almost one of the toughest weeks to get through, besides the usual, finals weeks, and that really long essay at the end of the year for some history classes...
This year the freshman made a point of stopping to check their schedules every five seconds in all the major arteries of our school hall ways. Apparently not many of them were offered a complementary tour of the school. It'll be a grand day when traffic lights and walking lanes are installed, as without them most students are stuck like sardines in between hallways (except you're crammed in next to sardines you've never met before!) and consequently, are late to the you always get there just after the bell rings yet still within reach (but really barely!) classes across campus. As revenge however, seniors made a point of being particularly aggressive on what marks the first of many freshman fridays. Eggs were soaring in beautiful ciseauz ballet leaps, before dashing the performance by landing on some poor freshman's backpack. If only he had ignored those who claimed freshman friday was not but an urban legend and stayed off Shattuck Ave. during lunch.
Many folks are wondering what the hecking heck is up with the Jacket this year? Apparently they ran out of funds, and there's an evil rumor going around that the Jacket has been made into a sixth period elective course! COULD IT BE TRUE? Well, nobody really knows yet and the counselors refuse to speak to most of the student body at the moment.
On a completely different note, I have made an informed decision that Ms. Tammer is not in fact the devil incarnate teacher.
